The Utah Prevention System relies on local prevention coordinators that are responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating prevention services in their area. The Weber Human Services prevention team has developed a comprehensive prevention plan to address our local prevention needs while being vigilant in using prevention programs shown to be effective with the particular target audience. They work with local community coalitions in analyzing information from the Student Health and Risk Prevention Survey (SHARP) to help direct services and leverage resources to best meet the needs of our communities.
