Women's Residential Services

What is SUD Residential Treatment?

SUD (Substance Use Disorder) Residential Treatment is an inpatient home-like environment where clients can stay for a short time receiving substance use treatment and counseling. Clients are encouraged to engage in groups and activities that support their recovery efforts. They reside in a safe, clean environment with others seeking recovery, forming a community of support for one another.

What is Tranquility Home?

Tranquility Home is a residential treatment facility specifically designed for women’s needs in recovery. We provide a home-like environment where women can find renewal in recovery. We have a supportive schedule with classes through most of the day to help center recovery in the lives of the women we serve. Our peer support and case manager help women navigate their recovery from lived experience.

With the support of their therapist and the clinical team at Tranquility Home, some women are allowed to bring their children aged newborn to 10 years old. Children will be connected to the Youth Team to provide support in healing the whole family.

Phases of Treatment

The program itself is set up to support different phases of recovery for approximately 60 to 90 days.

Phase 1 focuses on stability. In this phase, clients are encouraged to focus on only the things they need to maintain recovery. They spend time in the home, and on activities with staff, practice coping skills, and physical healing.

Phase 2 focuses on balance. This phase introduces pass hours. Clients are encouraged to go on passes to experience recovery outside of Tranquility Home. Clients use these hours to invest in their recovery. They learn to maintain recovery in the real-world while having a safe place to return and process their experiences. In this phase, clients are expected to obtain employment to provide financial support for discharge.

Phase 3 focuses on sustainability. With increased pass hours, and employment, clients are encouraged to spend extended time outside of Tranquility Home after classes are completed for the day. They learn additional skills to help them maintain long-term recovery. In this phase clients are assisted in finding safe living environments and options for outside recovery support.

Who do we Serve?

Tranquility Home is designed to assist clients who have struggled to maintain recovery at a lower level of care. Clients whose lives have become unmanageable due to Substance Use Disorder who have tried other means of recovery are appropriate candidates for Tranquility Home. Clients may benefit from our services if they are in active use, have tried other methods, are pregnant, or engaged in IV drug use. Clients must have Medicaid or meet other eligibility criteria to be considered for treatment.
